As previously anticipated, starting from  October 15, 2021 , all those carrying out work activities  in the  private sector will have to have a  Green Pass .

The obligation does not apply exclusively to workers and employers, but involves anyone carrying out their activity in any professional capacity. Furthermore , this includes those engaged in training or volunteer work, even when operating under external contracts. Specifically , categories such as interns, cleaning companies, and maintenance workers are fully subject to these regulations. If the employee  is unable to produce  the Green Pass, he or she will not be able to access  the workplace and will be considered  an unjustified absence , without receiving wages or other benefits until he or she obtains the Green Pass and in any case no later than December 31, 2021; the employee will, however, be entitled to  maintain his or her employment relationship .
